Heather started her dance training at the age of three at Studio Dance Arts Ltd. in Wheeling, Illinois where she was a member of the youth dance company Imagez. While there, she trained with Julie Cartier, Pam Johnson-Tannis, and Sandra Scaletta. During high school, continued her training at Gus Giordano’s with John Leher. In 2004, she graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo with her BFA in Dance. There she trained with Tom Ralabate, William Thomas, Tressa Crehan, Jeanne Fornarolla, as well as numerous artists in residency. She was a member of Zodiaque Studio Dance Ensemble for three years, performed and choreographed in Dancer’s Workshop and Young Choreographers, as well as additional special programs. After college, Heather performed for three years as a Production Dance for Carnival Cruise Lines. She then spent two years as a member of The Cartier Collective. Heather started teaching at the age of 16, and has since worked with students from 2 years old through adults.
