Sharing the Magic
Helping those that help others. Institute for Dance is a collection point for 1st Grade Readers that support the Junior Women's Club of Williamsburg's elementary school Book Exchange Program. This program gives 1st graders the opportunities to donate a book and take a book. An exempliary program, iDANCE is proud to collect books year round to support their efforts.
iDANCE Goes Green
Recycling is our first choice at iDance. Our students and families collect and recycle aluminum cans and paper type products daily. Volunteer parents ensure recycled materials are delivered to the appropriate organizations.
The "Give Back" Box
Recycled dance shoes? You Bet! THE GIVE BACK BOX! Many of our parents donate back to the studio gently used dance shoes, all types (jazz, tap, ballet, character), all sizes. This offers a chance for all of our families to recycle shoes they no longer need. Our box is never empty but always welcomes the gifts. Families can then pick from the box for their use as needed.
